The Ring’s Daveigh Chase Is All Grown Up

The Ring is one of the biggest horror films of our generation, and the lead poltergeist, Samara, is destined to haunt our dreams (and potentially dimension-crossing TV screens) for the rest of time... or at least the next 7 days.

Though the film came out 15 years ago already, and the actress who played the long, dark haired nightmare is all grown up... and she's nothing like what her character looked like back then. As Buzzfeed first pointed out, actress Daveigh Chase is all grown up. And she looks so different that she probably doesn't get recognized as Samaran — which we imagine is a relief.

According to her Instagram, Daveigh loves her cat, fashion, interior design. She regularly posts photos of her life and adventures, and never stopped acting. A few years back, she starred in the Lilo and Stitch series (she played Lilo, how is that for a fun fact at your next Halloween party?), Donnie Darko and more recently, did a modeling campaign for a vintage clothing store and is set to continue to star in upcoming movies like 7 Days as a Kingpin.

From 7 days to 15 years... Samara looks better than ever.
