The Daffodils Poem is said to convey Wordsworth's happiness at seeing the beauty of the 'never-ending line' of 'golden daffodils' that were 'fluttering and dancing in the breeze', that made him forget about feeling lonely.
Wordsworth said that whenever he felt reflective, he would recall those golden daffodils, which would lift his mood, with the beauty of nature making him happy once again.
